I'm Emmanuel Temidire Durojaiye — most people call me Element. Software engineer by training. Full-stack and data practitioner by practice. Product and project manager by conviction — PMP® and PSPO III certified. Founder of Techafil, based in Abuja, Nigeria.

I didn't set out to span this many disciplines — I just kept following the next interesting problem until I could solve it end to end. The result is an engineer who writes the code, owns the roadmap, and runs the delivery. Not as separate hires. As one person.

I founded Techafil to prove something: that you don't need to leave Nigeria — or Africa — to do world-class engineering work for global clients. Everything I build is in service of that mission.

How I got here

2016
HTML & CSS

Wrote my first line of code after graduating college. HTML first, then CSS — the bug was planted.

2018
JavaScript

Got into college and picked up JavaScript. Pages started doing things.

2019
Python & data

First year of college. Learned Python and got into data analytics — the stack started expanding.

2020
Techafil · PM · Product

Founded Techafil. The same year I got into product and project management — all three at once.

2021
Backend dev

Went deeper into server-side engineering — APIs, databases, auth, and everything behind the frontend.

2022
Business analytics

Added business analytics to the toolkit — KPI frameworks, dashboards, and decision-ready data.

Data engineering

Went end-to-end on the data side — pipelines, dbt, Airflow, and warehousing at scale.
